Andy took me here for my birthday (which is difficult as its the 27th of December) however my like for the place started even before I knew where I was going as Andy said they would not open unless they could get fresh produce...mega brownie point in my book!
Luckily they could so we went! The venue is lovely, really warm and welcoming which big tables and low lighting. The staff were attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
I had game terrine and steak and Andy had lobster ravioli and steak..you have to have steak he he. The food was great, perfectly cooked the steak was melt in your mouth and we were so full pudding was no option sadly but we left with a lovely warm feeling!
The only issue is its really (for us) a treat place as it is expensive, which I don't mind as the food is great and well sourced but its not an every day type place. I want to have a Sunday roast there at some point!!
